[SOLVED] CEM3340 Troubleshooting

Hello all,

I've been attempting to make a CEM3340 oscillator, following this circuit from LookMumNoComputer (cross-referenced with the datasheet):

Source: https://www.lookmumnocomputer.com/projects/#/cem-3340-diy-simple/

---

However, my oscillator I've assembled on a breadboard seems to be very quiet and perhaps high-passed. You can hear what I mean here- this is with +24dB of gain applied in my DAW-

Any ideas as to what I've done wrong? I've redone the circuit from scratch a few times now, each time with the same resultant sound.

Can you put a scope on it and see what the output P2P voltage is?

check the powersupply connections on your breadboard. sometimes the rails arent connected for the full length (see where there is a break in the red and blue stripes - that might need to be jumpered).
