I know it's a very long post, but I hope it can be useful if someone is interested in differences between models.

Abbreviations:
MI v1.9 = Mutable Instrument v1.9 official firmware
BITT v4.1 = Bees in the Trees v4.1 alt. firmware

If we compare one-to-one how the same models do sound on both firmwares, there’s a noticeable sound difference between the 2. Also a bit louder with MI v1.9.
Though important to mention that I was comparing with v1.9 and BITT is based on v1.7. So maybe there’s no difference with v1.7.1

DIFFERENT MODELS
There are some models present on MI v1.9 and not on BITT v4.1 and vice-versa.

SUB-triangle
HARM
NOIS

- Here HARM:
HARM generates a mixture of sine harmonics. COLOR modifies the distribution of the amplitudes of each harmonics, around a central frequency set by TIMBRE.

While checking some models present on MI v1.9 and not on BITT v4.1, I connected Radio Music output to FM IN of Tresses running the QPSK model.
Showing this because while I’m selecting randomly samples on Radio Music, at 0:50 one of these samples caught my attention and I decided to sequence it.

While checking some models present on MI v1.9 and not on BITT v4.1, I connected Radio Music output to FM IN of Tresses.

It became for me interesting around 2:50, cause it’s not the sound or processing I expected from Tresses when I built it (okay… I was also not planning to FM it using the Radio Music audio output tbh).
So it’s a nice surprise so to say.

No external effect applied. Direct our from Tresses module at the left side. Sometimes we hear also Radio Music when I fade it in on the mixer.

15 12 18 Scrotum Lab Tresses - Bytebeats models with Bees in the Trees v4.1 [01]
These models are on BITT v4.1 and not on MI v1.9.

Tresses is being FMed most of the time in this video. The pitch controls (the pitch knobs and the V/oct and FM inputs) affect the speed at which the time accumulator advances, and thus affect both loop speed and the pitch of the "notes" played.

I applied some external effect at 1:14.
