Sampler pedals with MIDI control |
br>uyb |
br>Has anyone come across a sampling pedal that allows MIDI note triggering of the sample with pitch varying according to MIDI note?
My current set up allows this but is a bit awkward to tour so looking for a smaller form factor. Have checked out the Red Panda Tensor but not quite convinced it's going to do the job.
Current set up as follows:
Capture a sample (up to 1.5 secs) in an Alesis Quadraverb
Use an Arturia Keystep to trigger the sample via MIDI, with each key on the Arturia triggering the sample at a different pitch.
Happy to take the Arturia on the road but the Alesis is a bit of a pain.
Any suggestions appreciated! br> br> |

br>You might want to take the Alesis. I thought of a eurorack solution. Analogue Systems RS-290 can do exactly this. But it will end up costing maybe 10 times more than your setup with the other modules and case it would need. br> br> |

br>Thanks, looks like it would do the trick but as you said it would be pretty pricey.
This is the other thing I found that might do it:
1010Music Black Box
Seems like overkill though and doesn't look particularly robust either. br> br> |

br>I have a 856 for zellersasn. I haven't personally used the midi capability, but I've seen people do pretty creative stuff with it!

It's not the cheapest or most accessible, nor is it for people who want something more straightforward. But it's a lovely piece of kit if you're into audio mangling and take a few hours to properly learn it.! br> br> |

br>Great tip!
That looks just the thing + plenty of potential for further fun.
Thanks! br> br> |
