Do you use guitar pedals with your Eurorack? |
br>guitargyro |
br>Subject says it all. I’ve got a Make Noise SSP on the way and I’m wondering if anyone can give me some insight to how I might incorporate the arsenal of pedals I have for my guitars/synths?
Pedals I have that Id like to use within my SSP: Chase Bliss Thermae, Mood, Montreal Assembly Count to 5, Moog MF-102.
Pardon my ignorance, but is it as simple as getting a few 1/8” to 1/4” TS cables and jumping in? br> br> |

br>Yep, and sends to pedals most of the time here. For balanced lines into pedals I use the radial rmp box. br> br> |

br>Doesn't the SSP have a preamp built into the 1U strip? If yes, you could use this to boost your pedal signals to modular levels. If you only use your pedals at the end of the signal chain you wouldn't need a preamp at all. You'd only need to attenuate the outputs of your modules before they go into the pedals. You could use the main output of the SSP, CH. 2 and 3 of Maths or Moddemix for this. br> br> |

br>Pedals? ALL the time.
I admit to being confused about this thread at first; I'm assuming all o' youz don't use some kind of 'final output' module (I use either a PM Outs or a MN Rosie), or are patching the effected signal back IN to your signal path for further modular mangling. Signal levels were honestly never a concern for me because it always worked (not the most informed answer, but hey). For me, they're the icing on the cake; just prior to the mixer. [Obviously I'm not using ES modules to go direct into a computer...] br> br> |

br>I just got an INTRFX from Boredbrain. Three channels of switchable eurorack to fx/fx to eurorack per channel with blend knobs and CV control. It's a solid little desktop unit, and is great for me because I didn't want to use up any rack space for this.

I was referring to going
euro->pedals->euro
other wise also used them
euro->pedal->DAW/mixer/amp/pa
for the later I often went from a intellijel ai (v1 or 2) but have just went after a vca or even straight from a mixer module br> br> |
