Do you use guitar pedals with your Eurorack?

Subject says it all. I’ve got a Make Noise SSP on the way and I’m wondering if anyone can give me some insight to how I might incorporate the arsenal of pedals I have for my guitars/synths?

Pedals I have that Id like to use within my SSP: Chase Bliss Thermae, Mood, Montreal Assembly Count to 5, Moog MF-102.

Pardon my ignorance, but is it as simple as getting a few 1/8” to 1/4” TS cables and jumping in?

I had this for that matter!

Some other popular "pedal interface" modules:

Malekko SND/RTN

ALM S.B.G.

Doepfer A-138d

Strymon AA.1

I have the S.B.G., works fine but would probably go with the Bastl or Malekko if I was buying today-they have 1/4" jacks for the pedal, and larger knobs for send/return level. BTW, what's a Make Noise SSP? Did you mean the Percussa SSP?

Also, you would no doubt get more responses posting this over in the Eurorack subforum-it has a lot more traffic. A mod may be able to move the thread for you if you like.

Similar questions (pedals<>modules) have been asked on there several times in the past-search function will help you find them via keyword (restrict to Eurorack forum and topic title only to limit relevant results):

Thanks for the response. I was referring to my Make Noise Shared System Plus.

Do you have a mixer? I use guitar pedals with the aux send(s)/ return(s) of an AH ZED14.

Yep, and sends to pedals most of the time here. For balanced lines into pedals I use the radial rmp box.

Woe! Wasn't aware of this! Works has a guitar amp/interface! Excellent!

I have used the intelijell AI v1 & 2
as well as

intelilijel pedal I/O with the send/return 1u
https://intellijel.com/shop/eurorack/1u/pedal-io-1u/

but the one I most preferred was the RML GPI

Doesn't the SSP have a preamp built into the 1U strip? If yes, you could use this to boost your pedal signals to modular levels. If you only use your pedals at the end of the signal chain you wouldn't need a preamp at all. You'd only need to attenuate the outputs of your modules before they go into the pedals. You could use the main output of the SSP, CH. 2 and 3 of Maths or Moddemix for this.

Pedals? ALL the time.

I admit to being confused about this thread at first; I'm assuming all o' youz don't use some kind of 'final output' module (I use either a PM Outs or a MN Rosie), or are patching the effected signal back IN to your signal path for further modular mangling. Signal levels were honestly never a concern for me because it always worked (not the most informed answer, but hey). For me, they're the icing on the cake; just prior to the mixer. [Obviously I'm not using ES modules to go direct into a computer...]

I just got an INTRFX from Boredbrain. Three channels of switchable eurorack to fx/fx to eurorack per channel with blend knobs and CV control. It's a solid little desktop unit, and is great for me because I didn't want to use up any rack space for this.

I was referring to going
euro->pedals->euro

other wise also used them
euro->pedal->DAW/mixer/amp/pa

for the later I often went from a intellijel ai (v1 or 2) but have just went after a vca or even straight from a mixer module
