The year is coming to a close and I would like to thank all of my Muffwiggler customers with a present.
I also haven't raised my prices in two years. The economic environment has made it so that I have to compensate for the increases in raw materials. I will be re-calculating all of this at the end of the year and posting the new price structure on January 1st.
As a thank you to this forum, I have added a 15% off coupon for all of my Muffwiggler customers from today through Sunday, Nov 14, 2010.
Minimum cart amount to utilize the coupon is $100.00. It can be used once per customer.
The coupon code for the discount is MWTU
The discount applies to any product listed in the cart.

You should make up a few panel designs for this stuff and offer them to these guys as an altrnative to making their own.

I am planning on buying a couple boards from you in december.
oh well, its not like your prices arent already great!!!!
i cant wait to add your quad ad and quad gate delay to my dotcom.
Im hoping to be able to fit them both in a 2unit panel.
and the utility looks f'n rad too.
making my own panels is going to be the tuff part.
its prob not going to look great, but who cares,

If you are willing to spend around $50 for a panel that is cut to the proper size, pre-drilled and has engraved graphics then it is worth looking into http://www.frontpanelexpress.com/
I have a Eurorack panel on order from them, and I'm designing a couple more. The FPD program they use is quite easy to learn. I'm waiting for my panel to arrive before announcing "victory" and share it with everyone (have to make sure everything fits proper) but others on this forum have used their service with success. There is even a Yahoo Group here that keeps a library of panel files that others have designed. I'd suggest loading one of their designs and modifying it if you want to make your own. It's easier that way than starting from scratch. Also, if you choose a black painted surface and "no fill" engravings (your graphics will be etched out and show up as bare aluminum) then you can save some money that way. You could probably get a panel down to the $30 range easily. |

| Just to be sure, before i order, do these boards run on +-12 or +-15v? i cant really find much technical info, but seeing the 5u kit makes me think 15 should be fine. |

Either.
The only one that suffers is my VCO. I can only get it to track 5.5 octaves before it runs out of headroom but, I don't offer it in DIY because it's such a PITA to calibrate.
However, a few people forced me to sell them some and managed to do OK.
Otherwise, everything is calibrated (if need be) using +/-15VDC. If somebody is going to build it into a Euro-style, I ask for a heads up and I'll calibrate the modules that are affected by the lower voltage supplies using +/-12VDC before it leaves.

Thanks for the quick answers! I am building some 19" x 2u modules with a lot of "glue" stuff like busses, multis, VCAs and mixers etc, i think your tiny boards will be perfect for it. i will get one of quadvca and VC mixer for now, and if they work out, i will get more 
one other thing i am not quite sure about, the VC mixer. I gather that the knobs control the volume like a normal mixer and the CV would increase/reduce the volume. what happens when the CV crosses below zero, does the output just stay off, or does it invert the input?
I am off to order them now

Yeah, they just stay off when the CV goes negative. Makes it handy to use as a rectifier
The VC mixer has an inverted out. The quad VCA is the same circuit but, with the individual channel outputs seperate. Oddly, I had to add another IC and circuitry to do that.
Don't forget to check my resources sticky at the top of my sub-forum. There's all sorts of useful info up there.

yep dont spend it all at once!
For what its worth when i have the panels made (or if i finish my CNCifing of my mill.. before that..lol its been 5 years who am i kidding) ill make sure to put your logo on there. it will be important for the auctioneers who dont know what the hell to do with my modular one day after I  )
my modular is still in "production" so far, I have finished building/bought some dotcom, ,Oakley, MOTM, JH, CGS, STG, 100% DIY and soon, some MMM |
