How to cut frequencies below 20 hz? |

i'll use logic's hi pass filter or the channel EQ to do it when needed.. the channel eq will do a 48db slope which is pretty steep.
i do almost always roll of w/a gentle slope (18db per octave) everything under 30hz. that energy down there can mess w/compression when compressing a drum mix or the entire mix or just getting a kick and bass line or sub bass to sound right.
but i don't always do it. sometimes i just clean things up a little and leave the rest in there because it'll sound "right" to me and i figure if there is any real problem the mastering engineer will straighten it out or tell me to send him another mix  _________________ LABEL TWITTER FACEBOOOK SAMPLE LIBRARY
