He's moving right now. Has announced that he'll be off the web and email for a while.

I'm about 85% unpacked, starting to ship small orders (panels, pc boards, rails, etc). Will be 2-3 weeks until the bench and equipment is set up and I'm back to a regular schedule.

I have bought a small panel run for the '650. They are $10 more which helps the cost of the panels ($40ea!). www.synthtech.com, click ORDER tag, then in upper left corner click MOTM - Assembled.

Setting up the workbench this weekend so I can start soldering again. Unpacking is 95% done, enough to get going.

You no doubt saw this on the MOTM list, but the target for delivery is mid-Oct.

No doubt I did! I'm an experienced motm customer, so I know not to be in a hurry. I'll pay my money, and get it when I get it.

Posted on his Yahoo list on 8/21:

Quote:
I am starting MOTM-650 build tomorrow, I am still waiting on some front panels but I have parts to ship most of the existing orders. I have blank pc boards, enough to make ~ 8 more units be fore retirement. But due to the
setup charge on the SMT machine, these last 8 would be $50ea more so not
sure I will run them or not.

The ones we (the first X ones) are waiting for had just missing jacks as far as i remember....

Edit: I did remember right

Quote:
In order to complete all 8, I have to get more jacks from Singatron, and
they usually quote 7 week lead time. Also, due to Christmas/NAMM, these last
8 will not ship until Feb/March (based when the jacks get here, everything
else is sitting here ready to go).
