Not tried the Metalbox one, so can't comment on that.

But does it have to be adsr? If ad is enough, the Blacet DAD is a great module. Can't recommend it enough.

I just got a Metalbox ADSR last week. I already had a Blacet DAD, but wanted an ADSR as well - gotta have some sustain sometimes.

There's not too much to say about it - it does what it's supposed to do without any problems. It's got quite a decent release time on it (at least 20 seconds from my rough measurements, although the spec says 10).

It's got a handy gate LED on it as well. Just seems a good workhorse module to me thumbs up

I have one too and like it as a vanilla ADSR. Slopes are not linear, you get some nice snap even without being able to apply VC. Sometimes you just want an envelope that sounds musical and this fits the bill.

They do kits for ADSR, Matrix Mixer and the patch panels. They're on the site.
