after 4 months of discouragement we finally found out what was the problem with our vco... the ferrites!!! wrong ones? i don't know they simply let only negative voltages pass
now the oscillator is working great! we (my brother, tbh) built 2, i already love them: the skew, the way they fm... and... everything!
now it's time to find out how to make a good panel! confused

thank yuo thomas henry!

frequency central had good results with anodized alu panels and transfer method - tried it today with press'n'peel blue with ...err... not so good results. i think the iron has been too hot.

Hey guys, I have a question regarding the PW pot. Given a 300 degree turn pot in your standard ~7 o'clock to 5 o'clock travel, between 7 and say 9, and between 3 and 5, the PW is 0% or 100%. I don't seem to get the full travel out of my pot, though it does seem to stay centered around 12 o'clock. Is this expected behavior? Other than that I just have to get this thing to track Russian Roulette.

Thanks!
Brian

mmmh, will have to check this on my builds.
maybe R52 is a little bit on the low end; just try a slightly higher value (replace with a trimmer or add a 2nd resistor in series).

Thanks, I'll check to make sure I didn't make some dumb mistake (i.e., 33k instead of 330k). If not, I'll try another value or additional in series.

if it would be easier for you, you could add resistors in series to each end of the pot (between the pot and the suply rail) to find the exact full range.

Could the Waveshaper PCBs be stacked with the VCO Core PCBs?
It looks like the mounting holes on both PCBs line up, but I'd like to know for certain...

yes. they could be mounted back to back. i even mirrored the power connectors and the tri/saw header so that they align.

Hi Matthias,

good news nanners

OK I will definitly take 6 cores and 3 shapers.

Do you accept paypal or do you prefer direct "Ueberweisung"?
(sorry my finacial vocabulary is too short)

I might be out of net connection during this weekend and I do not want to miss the pcbs again (this as excusion for my next question - I'm so new to this forum):

Do I get an email for details or do I have to order somewhere else?

PS:
I love your projects and your videos

best regards

I'd like 2 of each as well. I have the same question as sicpaul, will these appear on the "PCBs for Sale" section of your website, or are you handling this all right here?
