ROMs are ordred and in progress. I'll post here again when they hit the mail!

Sound demos of these in action:
1
pocketMonster
schumannPLL
Brainwaves (modulating an e350)

Here are old posts for historical value:

UPDATE: ROM sets are currently available until July 4th.

I got really busy with the end of the semester and never got around to making another physical run of the 4 roms here, made of waves from:
NES 2A03 & C64 SID (split with special stage)
Serge Creature
Schumann PLL
My Brainwaves

I just want to make sure everyone that wants copies can get a set, as some people had expressed interest some weeks back.

Hi!

ROM sets are available for sale now at this link!

I'm about to reply to all PMs and emails with this link, just to make sure no one misses out.

(Thanks for your patience! I was exploring the possibility of adding a new ROM that I've had in mind for a while, but I didn't have enough source material or time and wanted to get these out there.)

Hey all - at the request of several people I kept orders open a little longer than I had originally intended.
As a result, ROMs aren't here yet, but they'll be here this week, and I'll have as quick a turnaround as possible (ie: 1-3 days after they arrive), which shouldn't be too far off from the orignal schedule's estimate.

Apologies for delays!

No worries - I totally understand anticipation!

Has been a bad week for me.. had some pretty intense unexpected dentist appointments : /

The last batch ships tomorrow - it is the overwhelming bulk of the orders.

Also, I felt bad that I was taking longer than I originally declared, so as a bonus thank you for your patience, I upgraded all yet-sent orders to painted versions.

Thanks!

jbartee (special stage) deserves some credit too - we made the first ROM together, and he meticulously sampled those C64 filtered waveforms. Good shit.

Arrrgggghhhh!

I'm hundreds of miles away from home in a KOA Kampground (highly recommended if you have young kids, by the way), and my Kool new ROMs are probably sitting there in my mailbox humming to themselves. waah

Bricks, thanks for doing this run. I really look forward to playing with them when I get home. w00t

+1 from me also! Great ROMS. Got one PH with Bsmiths, and one with Bricks... it´s like two different oscillators. Such endless sources of great sounds.

the paint job looks awesome - it make it look like having different flavors of ice cream inside your PH! screaming goo yo

cool! btw, if anyone is having troubles getting their expanded Piston Honda to fit inside a 3U skiff, here is a a quick solution that uses 90-degree pin-headers and a standard power cable:

cheers,

i sorted it for you.
you need to use the video tags (not the url ones) and the normal youtube url not the "youtu.be" one.
if you click edit on your original post you can see how it should look smile

i'm almost ready to show off mine - will have a patch featuring 2 PH w/PK-ROMs, 2 Polivoks, 1 Double Andore and 2 Flame Tame Machines all stuffed in a shoulder-mounted skiff! Rockin' Banana! -- just waiting for the the Andore and a PH Expander to arrive from AH.... hyper

--

and i see the bar has already been raised pretty high in terms of quality demos! we're not worthy

@megamouse -- the patching in your 2nd is vid looks absolutely insane! SlayerBadger!
how many stackables are you using, btw! a-and love that wogglebug action!! Woggle Bug!

--

@HMC -- beautiful sounds - will you be making a video for the track on soundcloud?

hmmm..... maybe i'll try to use some video synthesis modules to visualize the waveforms in interesting ways - i'm particularly keen to see what the pink/brain-ROMs look like in this manner! twisted

rock-on,
7n7

ps... a question to the forum : which sounds like a more interesting module arrangement for exploring PH ROMs?

A: [ PH PV PH PV TM TM DA]

- or -

B: [ MATHS PH PH TM TM DA]

please help me decide w00t

Maybe (and thanks for them, I love it all), but I will NEVER take money from the module account to buy a new camera. Won´t happen. Ever. I have my principles.

I've thought about doing a "Greatest Hits" ROM for miniwave, but didn't seem like there was enough interest when I posted about it last year. I never built a setup for burning them, but I some people around here have done it

ROMs are ordered! This run is closed.

Thanks to all for the support! It is super cool to know people out there are wiggling with these (and that I get to ship my brainwaves around the world on pink microchips!) love

As you all know, sometimes I'm slow, but I'll get them painted/burnt/in the mail as soon as I can. I imagine they'll start arriving before the end of the month.

Update:

I got a small handful to the post office today. Just finished packing the rest(bulk) of the orders tonight - they're ready to go and in a bag by my door for a Post Office trip on Monday.

Definitely post clips as you get them - I'm always excited to hear what people do with these!

Thanks again!!!
