Enjoy!

Incredible attention to detail. This will do doubt lead to a very successful first run.

I hope all things go smoothly and this can be the start of a very lucrative endeavor. This unit looks to be the finest sequencer ever offered to the electronic music industry. Your patience and hard work are evident.

you are too flattering.

something i _can_ conclusively say is that i _don't_ have one here now that i left it with Sunsinger in February, and it was a pain in the ass not having it on my gig last weekend, and i'm not looking forward to not having it this weekend for this RIDICULOUS psytrance party i'm playing.

AND I DON'T EVEN WANT TO USE THE TOUCHPLATES. i'm just talking about the sequencer itself.

here's an example of how i was using it:

Even though I don't quite have the money (yet), my spouse has been dropping hints I should pick one up, because then he'd apparently get interested in making noises with my modular SlayerBadger!

And yeah, that Archangel looks like one hell of a fun sequencer to play!

lol Pretty much every feature i thought of when watching that video was the next one he showed us.

STG: "So here's how you can do X"
Me: "Wow it can do X,wouldn't it be awesome if it did X+1 ?"
STG: " And if you want to do X+1, here's how you do it"

Definitely - I've been busy getting everything together, so haven't had a chance to post new blog entries. Here's the 5 minute summary:

    - PCBAs are done
    - First article chassis have some minor mechanical flaws that we're fixing before building the rest of the units
    - Front and rear panel artwork is waiting on the artist. Once I get artwork it will be 2-3 weeks to have them made and delivered

Current ETA to ship is no more than 2 weeks after I get the metalphoto. The metalphoto was supposed to be in process a couple of weeks ago, but my graphic artist had some final changes to the design and then suffered a hard drive crash that he's still recovering from. The plan is to get the units built up as much as possible while I'm waiting for the metalphoto, then do final assembly and burn-in after they come in.

The post-metalphoto assembly involves:
    - stamping serial numbers into the metalphoto
    - attaching the rear metalphoto to the rear half of the chassis
    - Inserting light pipes in the main PCBA
    - attaching the front metalphoto to the front half of the chassis
    - mating the two halves together
    - Performing a 12-hour burn-in on each unit
    - Bag it, tag it, box it and ship it

I have three new blog entries I'm working on while I get other items built up (ribbon cables, test fixtures and the like), which will be posted as soon as possible. Each of these entries have the same level of detail as my most recent published one, so that will give you an idea of the effort put into each post. With the added workload of actually building these things up, the post volume has gone down a bit.

There will be a blog post Monday night with more detail, but here's the skinny:

The Metalphoto artwork had one more snag that took a week to sort out, but it should be here Monday afternoon.

The chassis issues took much longer than a week to sort out, but they are finally being fabricated and I should have them in house on 09/10.

I will be going to KnobCon to show off the production unit, and if there are any pre-order customers there I would be happy to deliver your sequencers, provided I can do final assembly on enough units between the 10th and 12th to satisfy all folks that will be there. Upon my return from KnobCon, I will be barreling through the remaining sequencers and getting them shipped as my time allows.

If I get in early enough to Knobkon, I can pass it to back to you for your concert. If I can get it back when I leave. thumbs up

Soon, very soon. Analogue Haven is the sole US distributor for both 1/4" and 3.5mm models, and I will be making my first shipment as soon as I get the units built from the final metal coming in.

the bare aluminum chassis is a "first article" from the metal shop. the official batch is black anodised.
