Big ups!
Fi years!

If you somehow manage to make it to the state with all that gear,
I'll help to hook something up in Pittsburgh. No guarantees though.

Is this the same venue the detached parties are held in ?

cheers for the support guys - actually proud of myself for once on this one...

yeah same venue as detached - they were in the basement with billy nasty doing a 3 hour early 90s techno classics set. brilliant. always a good crowd there - very much like orbit in the old days......

polyroy - and anyone else middle englandish. playing bridgnorth festival september 3th as part of urban explorations, ambientish jam collaboration with some leeds crew followed by club night ill also be doing a set at. should be a good do, bridgnorth a really nice town. good pub vibe!

also be some london gigs this autumn/winter hopefully!!

please pass the video on if i can get some takers ill be doing a mini tour (no venue too small by the way and i got me own rig/transport/one man band)

yeah! loving it mate! honestly was so hyped for it - i was on rephlex records in 2000 and they dropped me like a hot turd when my record didnt sell like they thought (should have put the dancefloor tunes on it - nevermind) anyways really wanted to show them what id been doing since, what they were missing kinda - only been on the modular 3 years i think now so they not seen this. smashed it. you can see mike dreds faces on the vid, he was coming on after me, loved it i think but kinda hard to follow!!

as for setup long list of doepfer, afg, rs290, my own designed sequencers, live mixer, tube distortion, dual ssm filter, kinda binary zone thing, radio interference oscillator, some other bits an pieces.....

its the sequencers and mixer that make it rock basically!

im gonna do some vids when i get time of my modules ive made try to explain how it works a bit. got a website blog thing www.headcleanersound.com gonna put stuff up on there but working loads at mo be a couple of weeks.

i so wish there was a recording of the night. sad thing is i got a tascam dr-07 specially as every time i try to record to laptop or minisisc or anything something always goes wrong.

anyway didnt remember you had to press rec button twice. it was flashing but thats standby.......

even worse the guy filming saw this and realised (i think you can even see it briefly on the film) but didnt want to put me off my stride. wish he had !!!

so yeah, no recording.

better luck next time i suppose?

as for how it works sequence wise etc. the key is having at least 3 sequences running seperately to 3 osc to 3 filters or vca/delay/ring mod or whatever. 3 seperate different sounds that you can flick between and tweek. thats it basically. works arrangement wise then as you can mess around A to B then when that gets a bit long drop C and so on and so on until you get lost and have to resort to wall of noise for a bit.

as ive said before the real key is the sequencers and mixer that ive designed myself. the sequencers are basic and very compact and the mixer has kill switches. i will be making some to sell eventually but i gotta get pcb and faceplate design down first......
