i was wondering how to get that bass sound here

its so fat it sounds like saw waves and sidechaining but theres something else? its like the filter is been sidechained hmmm.....

also for the synth geeks out there applause he used a macbeth m5n for the main lead the first one to come in at 15 seconds ;D

Doesn't sound anything else than a saw or a couple of them going through a low pass filter, with a slow attack for the filter. Then again, the sound is so low it's hard to distinguish.

It's not a very good track for me - reminiscent of Daft Punk & Justice but these guys do it much better.

Lol I don't really get the q, the side chaining is prob the easiest element of that main synth.

I didn't even realize vocals in the background until now

there's a whole thread about how to make basses fatter using stuff like hpf with res before lpf etc.

(cant remember what to search for right now)
