Does the beer mean you will be doing it or not then? I got history with your filters... history counts for a lot. _________________ Listen

thank you.
no actually the beer meant that i couldn't talk because i was taking a drink.
yes. it will happen, the boring puritanical original Mankato will be in euroland. not as large as the frac version, but still very large and in charge.
i haven't made up my mind as far as layout goes. i don't really want to just directly translate the frac layout.
we're working on respinning all of the designs to SMT right now, because if that doesn't happen i'm going to die. 3 down, several to go. this is the source of the delay, but when it is further underway things will run smoother. _________________ http://suitandtieguy.com

Any update on the Euro Mankato?
I'm hoping it will have both frac and Euro power connectors...I'll find a way to fit it into my frac universe. |

Back when I was hanging out at Harmony Central, before the dark times, before the Empire, I said to STG that his modules were why I'd end up getting a modular one day. It was the 5U Mankato that did it. I almost feel like it would be a crime to have it in any other format, that module is so damn fabulous looking.
Makes me want to get a row of 5U going.
Oh god. No no no. |

it _was_ in frac.
the next version is going to be strictly euro and Moog-format.
however it will power off 12 or 15 no problem, and have both power connectors.
the Moog format version will have no front panel changes, but will be a parallel instead of perpendicular board arrangement, so it will be very shallow.
the euro version will also be a parallel arrangement, and will probably be a little different than the frac version. i don't know if it will retain the "Regenerations - 0 to 12" as my Doctor Who reference. i also might put all the inputs on the left side and the knobs underneath the gigantic circle-jerk arrangement.
