The MSU, Quad Slope, and Funky Drummer panels are sold out, and there is but a handful of West Coast Mini Synth panels left. If you're interested in a sold out panel, send me a PM and I'll add you to the wait list.
Thanks everybody!
CGS MSU
The MSU is now sold out. If you're interested in getting one, send me a PM to be added to a wait list for another run (I'll order once the wait list is long enough).
Quad Slope
The Quad Slope is now sold out. If you're interested in getting one, send me a PM to be added to a wait list for another run (I'll order once the wait list is long enough).
West Coast Mini-Synth
Funky Drummer
The Funky Drummer is now sold out, the remaining panels are $35USD each.
Shipping is $5.35USD anywhere in the U.S., or $16.95USD anywhere in the world. Shipping charges are per order...it doesn't matter how many panels you order, the shipping charges are the same.
There is more information about these (and other) panels in this thread.

MSU Build Guide
If this is too much of an eye chart, let me know and I can post a pdf. When the panels get in I'll put this (and others like it) in a dedicated build thread, but I wanted to get this out now for those who want to start ordering parts (and also as an excuse to give this thread a bump!).
For detailed wiring diagrams, see the CGS website:
CGS29 - Wave Multiplier
CGS35 - Synthacon VCF
CGS77 - Serge '73 VCF |

Very cool! You can place an order any time (this month)...when I receive it I'll send you an Paypal invoice due 10/1.
Fact is...the 1st is a Saturday, I was going to take the weekend to finalize everything and place the order on Monday the 3rd. As long as you get payment in as close to the 1st as you can, we'll be good! |

 |
|
|
Hey just a quick note:
When I started taking orders for panels, I also started receiving emails "from" Nacha.org, saying some "ACH payments" had been rejected.
Turns out, this is a known phishing scam. The headers in the emails I receive seem to confirm this.
If you happen to get one of these, DO NOT click on any links in the email! It will infect your computer with malicious code.
The real NACHA (the Electronic Payments Association), advises us to instruct customers to forward suspected emails to abuse@nacha.org for analysis. However, I just sent my last one to them and it bounced back...presumably they are getting a lot of these.
Also wanted to reassure those of you who have paid (blue in the post above) that I have indeed received your payment, and everything is fine.
All for now! |

Hey Gang,
just wanted to let you know I made an update to the West Coast Mini Synth panel. Negativespace gave me suggestion of a better way to lay out the VCA section.
Take a look in the first thread and let me know what you think, although I'm pretty set on going with this because it's way better than what I had...functionality is the same. Thanks Negativespace! |

Quad Slope Build Guide
This panel uses 2 CGS114 PCBs.
Note that building out CGS114 is a tad rough...it wasn't intended to become a mainstream PCB (but has caught on for obvious reasons). As such, it doesn't have a proper power connector, and the overall panel wiring isn't quite a clear as some of Ken's other projects. Everything you need to know is at the link above (and I've tried to help with this build guide), it just takes a little more brain power to figure it all out.
That said, if you want an easier time (and don't mind spending twice the money for twice the number of PCBs) you might consider building 4 CGS75 instead. _________________ DIY Euro synth panels: Synthcube in the US | Thonk in the UK

Wow guys...82 panels!
I'm going to spend the afternoon going over everything one last time, then tomorrow these are off to Metalphoto of Cincinnati. I'll post any updates, info about turnaround times, etc. as I get it. You've all done me right proud, thanks for all the support! |
