So I've have created an instance of Reaktor in Logic. I'm using a sequenced synth and basically I just want to record my playing of the softsynth like I would a hardware synth, but I can seem to do this. Is it possible to just record reaktor live as audio into logic? Or do I need to be using Midi and then bounce the tracks?
It seems like I should be able to record reaktor straight to audio, I can see the sound in the mixer, but when I hit record there isnt anything showing up on the timeline.
I did a quick search and didn't see anything related to this subject. Hopefully there is a simple answer out there. Thanks |

set the output of track that reaktor is on to a bus.. bus 1 for example.. then go to your audio track that you want to record on.. set the input to bus 1.. arm the track..
go back to the track that reaktor is on.. play away.. you have to arm the instrument rack as well... and the instrument track has to be selected or the midi won't get to it _________________ LABEL TWITTER FACEBOOOK SAMPLE LIBRARY

Do i need to have my interface plugged in? Logic doesn't give me the option to arm my audio track for recording. The only thing I can arm to record is the software track, and thats not what I want. I attached an image showing that I'm busing to audio1 and cannot arm to record.

Open your preferences -> audio, check if you have an input device. Needs to be something, even if built in input.Hit apply.
Oh, and I'd personally use a send to a bus rather than routing the track right out, but it depends. |

Also you have to save the project. Logic will not let you record until you've save a project file. Otherwise it doesn't know where to put the recorded audio.
I'll look at your pic ASAP. I'm on my phone. _________________ LABEL TWITTER FACEBOOOK SAMPLE LIBRARY
