Was it ever decided what the slowest rate was going to be?
I remember there was some discussion in the initial forum but I don't think there was a conclusion. |

| Maybe I missed it in the thread but do you have an idea when this is going to be available to purchase? |

It's almost dual. The two outs are different in one of three ways and you get to pick.
a) same waveform but independent rate (within same HI/LO range)
b) same rate but different waveform (within same Bank selection)
c) same rate, same waveform but independent phase shift
It would be nice if the a,b,c switch was marked Rate, Wave, Phase. |

That was the first thing I noticed, too.
Very tasteful and it speaks volumes about his influence in the synth community. _________________ Who broke all the toys in the cookie jar?

A B C are the 3 waveform banks
These are just quick & dirty panels for NAMM and to check parts alignments. Final ones will be better-looking.

You should have the LED holes being metal plated as "big vias". (Talking from previous experience with reverse LEDs).
This helps with luminosity. _________________ Andy,

The proto has non-plated hole, I figured that was the worse-case. If it's too dim, can always gold-plate it like the rest or use a thru-hole LED +spacer (which I want to avoid due to extra labor).
I'm more concerned that the light pipe is 0.65in long and will have too much transmission light-loss. Will find out here soon enough! |

Will this go into audio ranges?
I the BANK C on the e350 for audio.
So, considering those were designed more
as LFO waves, it stands to reason the e355
would also be cool at audio rates.
Please say yes. (4k)
An odd side-effect is it'd probably sell more.
I've been studying these Euro folk and have
noticed that:
1. They like swiss army knife modules. Things
that pull off a couple different functions and thus
save space and $.
2. They like misusing/abusing stuff in the "wrong"
way to get neat audio.
And not at all limited to Euro and a phenomenon I'm sure
you've experienced numerous times in 5U land...
3. Things that make sound or process sound do
better than modulation/utilities (generally, although there
are exceptions to the rule).
And I can certainly speak for myself. Audio rates in addition
to LFO duties (with primary use designed as LFO) would
move this from "wait for demos/reviews" to "hitting refresh
@ AH every 5 minutes once they leave your assembly shop" _________________

Wow I actually read it and forgot, lol. Was trying to figure out what you were saying about dsp processors and must have slip into a dissociative state.
