As per the title, alas, I don't have an inverter in my system. Since I'm keen to always utilise modules for things they weren't primarily intended, does anyone have any ideas of how to fake inverting a voltage using other Doepfer modules?

Basically, I want to patch an envelope to oscillator pitch, but invert it.

hmmm.....

Sure, there's the intellijel quad inverter, any attenuverting mixer like the fonik mh-01, etc. Of course there is always MATHS!

Help Muff out and donate. He could use it right about now.

Thanks, both of you. This is pretty much it:

Having trouble uploading an image of my system, but no attenuverting mixers as far as I know.

Would love a Maths. waah

Can you just list what modules you have? A183-2 would do it as well.

Unless I am missing something in what you want to achieve, both the A-140 Envelope Generator and the Envelator have an inverted output.

Personally I have not yet found a use for this but maybe my approach is just too conventional hihi

Judging by the suggestions, it seems I am so near, yet so far.

e.g. I don't have A183-2, but I have A-183-1 & 183-3... I don't have A-133, but A-134 is no problem. A-140? No... I have A-141. hihi

I'm probably going to spring for one of the suggestions here and maybe even the A-175 whilst I'm at it.

the A-183-2 is good, since you can also use it as a cv source.

but I would recommend the the intellijel triatt, because it will give you that function x3 and isn't that much more expensive

I think the upcoming Circuit Abbey Invy has most other options beat.
Attenuvert, Offest and Mix.
