br>The expo converter and thermostat circuit are the opposite implementation of the idea that everyone else copies from each other. Also, the triangle wave shaper is not calibrated and sounds nice and buzzy. It's more stable than you would expect, too. br> br> |

I've been wondering the same. Especially "the distortion on the triangle output is nice" would be nice to hear. Or better, see some scope shots. br> br> |

I know this isn't raw waveforms, but did you listen to the audio demos on this thread: https://www.muffwiggler.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=47 239&postdays=0&post order=asc&start=0
This answers your first question at least br> br> |

Yes, I did. Good demos but it's hard to tell because heavy modulation going on most of the time. I would buy one and test it myself but I'm saving for the Machinderum. br> br> |

br>Decided to just go for it and ordered one. While waiting for it to arrive I'm still figuring out what all the knobs do.
What I think:
Top down/left to right
- coarse tune
- fine tune
- octave switch
- attenuverted exp freq cv
- 1v/oct cv
- attenuated lin freq cv
- big knob, not optically related to a specific input? (middle, right)
- sync
- pw / atten
Or should I get a course on cyrillic/russian? br> br> |

br>p3t0r |
br>Ok. Spent some time with translate:
част. грубо == freq. coarse
скважность == duty cycle
Guess duty cycle is for pulse width? Or does it also operator on the other waveforms? br> br> |
|
br>governor blacksnake |
br>It's the pulse width knob. The box includes a translated panel drawing and calibration instructions. br> br> |

That's incredibly frustrating
Oh well, I don't need the demo anymore as I am currently unemployed. br> br> |

br>here are my polivoks VCG waves.
The saw seems inverted in the p3t0r's screenshots where it looks like a ramp.
Also our triangle is different, mine is asymetrical, like a sin at the top and triangle at the bottom. Not sure if this is normal, but it sounds great.
My polivoks is calibrated on a recent monorocket mission 9.
I have added raw sound at the bottom of the page : https://www.infinitesimal.eu/synth/article21/the-harvestman-polivoks-v cg-demo
oh and there is a nice vintage component inside :
