like a piano style controller but used to control a synth? why??? weird. seems like a step backwards.

Sounds like a Haken-esque 'keyboard' with the locationing and multiple ribbons deal.

+1 on what 'affordable' means.
Also hope it is a elf standing device not tied to the 200e specifically.

I spent a lot of time at the buchla booth and there was nothing new besides the dual filter/ random module (which was not working)

yeah, sorry about that. still working on it unfortunately (i didn't get the hardware until earlier this week). i hope to have something for them by this weekend but we'll see.
