yeah, sorry about that. still working on it unfortunately (i didn't get the hardware until earlier this week). i hope to have something for them by this weekend but we'll see. |
Two questions if possible: Any idea when this module would be "ship ready" and do you know if the 2 module box is still available for purchase??? _________________ "Things should be as simple as possible, but not one bit simpler" - Albert Einstein |

I was quoted 5 weeks on Jan 18th for the 267e Uncertainty Source/Dual Filter Module. _________________ waiting for the easel |

Have you started a Buchla system Sascha?
I see you have been lurking around the idea of it. _________________ Audio resistance to perceived fascist tendencies

Slowly but surely I have. Gotta love the BST section for saving a few bucks on modules and CA sales tax!
Now where's the keyboard?! Before we get all crazy about it, where'd the June date come from? I saw a post from Roman that mentioned that in quotes but not an original statement... _________________ WTB: EMS 8 Octave Filter Bank, Pitch to Voltage, and Random Voltage Generator units in the wood case. |

I guess location sensing is a little like the CS80 keyboard then? If so, brilliant news, as I've wanted this in a controller for AGES. _________________ Unique designs and ideas in sound since 2005:

that doesn't sound right. cs80 was a poly instrument with a separate pressure channel for each key as well as attack and release velocities. The keys are regular keys though their length inside the instrument is longer than budget keyboards
Yes I wouldnt be surprised if buchla has position sensing on the keys. I think it's been hinted it has actual keys. Initionally I was thinking Buchla might do a 222e type touchplate in a keyboard pattern _________________ http://nickkent.net

| Regarding location sensing, the thing that has always made me scratch my head about the 222e/223e is how people basically pretend they're faders a lot of the time. |

I called Buchla today. Looks like the new keyboard isn't going to be out until early next year. Maybe NAMM 2012?
On a related note: The past 2 weeks I made my way through the banana pictures thread. Pretty fun to go down memory lane on all those pics. Also, quite amazing how people have grown their systems. I think Muff might take the prize with his Bug Brand In that thread I found a link to this thread that has details on previous Buchla keyboards. I was thinking there might be some clues in the history...
