Recently built the quantizer from Barton Musical Circuits. Designed a panel to make it fit into my eurorack.
First panel I did myself, so fingers crossed... but quite pleased with the results. Panel is 4hp, but I have 3mm bleed on the left side of it. Just fit it next to a module with some spare room.
Anyway... here are some pics and the FDP file:

| For some reason I never got mine to work. Simple circuit but no go. It's possible something is wrong with the PIC chip. Sadly, I'm using mine as a bias at this point 'cause all it does for me is put out 5v. |

Just spotted this via the other thread! MAN it looks GREAT!
Read the pdf and it looks like it could be straight forward to do, anything fiddly? Like that thingy about 5v? Any issues hooking up to 12v?
Would love to do a dual too! Really, really cool mate _________________ DONT FORGET TO DONATE TO KEEP MUFFS ALIVE!

I run mine off of 12 volts. I was told it can run on 15v as well. |

Hey folks. I just put together a 6HP version of these for a friend and I must say they turned out pretty nice.
I also attached the FPD file this time.

Valis check your power going in if you have one of the early boards- the pins changed when the board rev did which caught me out as well the old docs were removed so by the time i built mine i went off the wrong documentation end result is you get nothing but 5volts out
worked out ok in the end all 8 that i built suffered no damage and are now working fine _________________ "its not my fault you employ muppets" |

Yes, I had it made at Front Panel Express.
The silver with black infill was about $37.00. I thought it was a bit spendy but my friend didn't care.
If you do other colors with no infill you're looking at about $28.00. |

I am very happy with mine. From what I can hear it hits all of the scales right on. If you haven't seen what scales it uses.....
STANDARD BANK
1.Bypass - Inputted voltage is outputted
2.Major - Root, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th
3.Minor - Root, 2nd, flat 3rd, 4th, 5th, flat 6th, flat 7th
4.Major Pentatonic - Root, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 6th
5.Minor Pentatonic - Root, flat 3rd, 4th, 5th, flat 7th
6.Blues Scale Root, flat 3rd, 4th, flat 5th, 5th, flat 7th
7.Whole Tone - Root, 2nd, 3rd, flat 5th, flat 6th, flat 7th
8.Chromatic - All 12 notes
OCTAVE BANK
1.Bypass - Inputted voltage is outputted
2.Octave - Root
3.Octave and Fifth - Root, 5th
4.Octave and Flat Fifth - Root, flat 5th
5.Major Arppegio - Root, 3rd, 5th
6.Minor Arppegio - Root, flat 3rd, 5th
7.Dominant Arppegio - Root, 3rd, 5th, flat 7th
8.Chromatic
I will say that I use the Major setting most of time. |
