So I just got a Best off Swamp panel from CGS and it has the Gated Comparator...

Now I've used Comps before but this one has me doing this hmmm.....

I've clocked both inputs and applied the random out to cv pitch...etc and understand that (sort off) but for the life of me the left hand row of knobs and jacks don't seem to give me anything?!? I can't figure out what they are used for or if they are even doing anything?!? very frustrating

The range knob is another WTF part of it as well, I can turn it with no apparent effect?...

Any help on this module would be great, its driving me crazy!...
