He is a very nice guy and helpful, too. Delivery went within 24 hours after payament and the packaging was top notch. I think this filter is a great addition to the ones available in 5U size. Not that I know every other filter, of course, but this is not the usual Moog-like 24db/oct low pass. The OTA design makes it kind of wetter or Roland-like.

Really nice demos , thanks for posting them. _________________ New C104 Odyssey of Sound VCO now available

One of my favourites filters for sure.
Thalassa, you should make the low setting on that LFO really slooooooow. I miss my eurorack's uLFO so much... That thing goes to 35 minutes or so for completing a cycle... drone paradise! _________________ noise

After some modifications now the LFO can complete one cycle every 7-8 minutes. So the new 3 ranges will be :
L 7-8 minutes - 1HZ
M 0,1HZ to 40Hz
H 2Hz to 1KHz
I think the overlapping between frequencies is enough and now the LFO can oscillate at really low frequencies. _________________ New C104 Odyssey of Sound VCO now available

Just wanted to say that the OTA Lowpass Filter sounds and feels great !
I tested it yesterday for the first time (the long awaited synthesizers.com parcel - including a Power Supply - eventually arrived...) and I really like it.
I'm glad I've chosen this one as my first MU filter !
It plays very nicely with my other modules (Q106, Q108, Q109).
Thanks to Corsynth. |
