While publicly it may seem that not much happens in my Modular building ways (damn, the mailing list is like a ghost-train), I'm *constantly* building batches of modules for the existing users and over the last few months have brought out a few new bits -- but haven't done any website updates...
I'm actually having something of a pause-for-thought this year (well, in theory). I am very aware of the demand for people to get aboard the bug-modular groupings. I spent several months investigating new power approaches before binning the whole lot (!)- still, I learned a lot from the process. The power is, of course, the required solid-base for all systems so it is vital to get this all right. (not that the current approaches are bad, but I want the best) The sidetrack was to look at switching PSUs - now I return to solid linear supplies.
In tandem, I am also looking at the current module range and figuring how to get them into more regular production. There are a few which have to be changed due to parts etc. (eg. SYN2A, ENV1). I am trying to sort core modules one-by-one so that kind of standard systems can be offered, though this is a fairly gradual process and is certainly quite sizeable.
In the meantime, here are pics of the most recent additions:
SYN2B - Quadrature Sine VCO / VC-LFO
Wide ranging and very good tracking. Excels at linear FM. Lovely multiturn pot action!
SEQ1X - Sequence Slave
This hooks up to the main SEQ1 Sequence Hub and provides an extra (slaved) set of CV and Gate outputs
UTL5 - Fade/Pan
Ok, not entirely new, but these never really got produced before. Voltage controlled cross-fade and panning.
CLK4A - Dual Gate Delay/Hold
Two manually controlled Gate processors with Delay and Hold time.

I need to get some more systems together (unlikely anytime soon..) and get some more raffles going! _________________ http://www.bugbrand.co.uk
