Check out a new release using the BugBrand Modular system from Low-Gain
"Low-Gain - An Intimate Moment In Time
This record was set up to be a very personal piece with the main purpose of purging a lot of emotional baggage I had at the time. The piece was performed infront of a live audience.
An album performed and recorded live@ Short Circuit Duluth II on January 21, 2012
Drones: BugBrand Modular
Reverb/Delay/Loops: Eventide Space/TimeFactor
Melodica, Contact Mic's, vocal drones, and a Tim Kaiser made Kalimba were also used.
Expect a limited edition hardcopy available at future Low-Gain performances only.

That was absolutely wonderful - dripping with emotion, beautiful sounds, marvellous progression, cathartic.
I cannot praise this enough. One of the best pieces I have heard from a fellow wiggler.
I have downloaded this, and would love a hard copy, but unless you are going to play in the UK then that is doubtful!
Bravo! |

Listened to this through late last night and really enjoyed it. Really immersive and evolving. Are there actually vocal snippets in there or am I mistaken? _________________ http://soundcloud.com/donbulrae |

I would love to make it over to the UK soon. Just comes down to who wants to pay me to come over. *LOL*
I'll get over soon enough.. be it my dime or someone else. . .
Anyways, I'll make the limited hardcopy available to those who want it around the world. Specifically on muffs. _________________ -]|- Low-Gain Electronics -|[-

Yeah i did a lot of vocal drones singing into my Tim Kaiser Kalimba which had a built in Piezzo.
The only "prepared" part of this set was a cassette tape of a recording of "an intimate moment in time."
The cassette has since been destroyed. But it served it's purpose for the record/performance. It's was kind of funny to see peoples reactions to that during the show.
Anyways...
I really appreciate the kind words everyone! I was really on the fence about releasing this one, but I also really enjoy listening to it. Glad so many have been enjoying it. _________________ -]|- Low-Gain Electronics -|[-

intimate moments in time (or 'imit / i'm-it' for short) would be a very cool name for a sequencer module!
