quADra:

-4 x function generators
- 3 modes:
1. AD (Attack - Decay)
2. ASR (Attack - Sustain - Release)
3. CYCLE (AD envelope loops)

- Each function can have a linear or exponential curve.
- wide time range for Attack/Decay controls: <0.5ms to well over 30s
-All analog and discrete logic for function generation (totally smooth)
-12HP and skiff friendly
-MSRP $275

quADra Expander:
-4 x EOC (end of cycle) pulse outputs corresponding to the 4 function generators.
-VC of attack and decay (with attenuators) of all four envelopes
-2 x analog OR (aka peak circuit) logic outputs that are normalled to the two pairs of envelopes (1+2 and 3+4) with attenuators.
- Special quadrature modes for Envelopes 1+2 and 3+4 with jumper on pcb to select two different kinds of looping responses.
-connects to the quADra via 4 ribbon cables
-12hp and skiff friendly
-MSRP $130

These are in production and will be completed in less than two weeks.

NOTE: all our new designs (with the new knobs) have pots that are bolted to the panels.

How to install the Quadra Expander

Difference between the two quadrature modes:

Fantastic. I was just thinking the other day about how I wished the Doepfer Quad Decay had attack on the frontpanel as well.

kick ass. you are giving a couple of my old euro standbys a real run for the money, and there are a lot of people who probably appreciate your layout and graphics compared to some other options. very clear and nice.

The analog OR outputs seem like they could lead to some interesting envelopes. The integrated quadrature mode is a really nice touch. I appreciate the stylistic nods to your influences. Amazing work! I'm actually most compelled by this module as I actually could use some more envelope sources....

After David Dixons recent questions about quadrature mode there was totally clear what next module expect from you thumbs up
Are the generators based around v2164?

The tricky thing with the expander - call it whenever you want or just marketing and nothing else - Quadra alone is bit 'useless' when using without expander. In fact, it's like Doepfer A-143-1 and both share even the same price (255$ and 260$). But to get access to most 'tasty' functions people are forced to buy expanders.

The only thing that sucks about all this new intellijel stuff, and I'm of course being facetious, is that I would be totally content having nothing but intellijel in my case.

I always thought and loved that the euro modular world was heterogenous and there are so many great modules from all over the world to combine, but intellijel is killing it! Apple of the euro world?

Cheers intellijel!

these look great. but for my purposes, both 4x ad and 2x 12hp is just too much. is there any chance in the forseeable future for one integrated 12hp (or narrower) module with just two instead of four complete channels of this?

while your spacings on the new modules are perfect, at least for my taste, and in fact +- how i build since years,
the expander is not.

attenuators could have been beside the jacks.
would be dense, but is IMHO no problem for that cv input.
Then i would have added a second Cv input without jack, just normalised to the AD out but with +- attenuator or attenuator + inv. switch.
.............i mean while you are the first one to make perfect modules wink
