The Dixie II has all the great qualities and features of the original Dixie but has been made a bit wider (6hp instead of 4hp) for better spacing and is now skiff friendly. The panel knobs are bolted on and the jacks have more space between them.

This makes a perfect modulation source to pair with the Rubicon. Add a uFold, uVCA and uFade and you have all the ingredients for a powerful and highly flexible complex timbre generator.

don't forget a uatt to compensate for the missing lin-fm and pwm attenuators! smile

what's a rubicon? [edit: oops, forget it. note to self: should read older threads first.]

Now we're talking! I saw you used spacers in your videos w/ the
4hp ones. The new Dixies look more comfortable.

This one is a winner too ! thumbs up

I'm planning since months to buy 2 Dixies, but I was a bit annoyed by the face that they were not really skiff friendly (and my flight-case is really shallow), and overfilled panel in 4hp was the reason I've recently sold my uAtt and unity mixer. When will it be available at Scheindersladen ? How much ?

I'd be happy to take all your unwanted 4HP Dixies. thumbs up

Otherwise, the new knobs look very nice!

hey that's better!
4hp was just too damn tight with many jacks full

you'd probably move a crap-ton of uAtts too if you piggybacked them onto Dixie sales with a 10-15 dollar discount
