Finally in production (has been sitting in the workshop for months).

This simple but essential expander can connect up to 4 dixies via the supplied 6pin ribbon cables.

-master 1V/Oct control
-master lin FM with attenuator
-master pwm with attenuator. PWM is set up so that the modulation direction is inverted in every other Dixie to create extra thick pwm.
-master Pulse Width control.
-MSRP $90
-Available in 2-3 weeks

There are a whole bunch of original Dixies out there and this will match with them visuall. I will make a second batch that has the same look as the new ones in the near future

I have to slowly phase out the old look!

Isn't it illegal to release so many awesome things at once? Is this part of a new economic stimulus plan?

can the old knobs be replaced with the new ones or are the new ones too wide at the base so that they would cover the scale on the front panel?

So the combo is $310 and 12hp? I think I'd prefer to throw in
another $80 and 6hp for a Rubicon.

As an owner of 2 version 1 Dixies, this is highly appreciated. Hopefully Schneiders will be getting some....?

How easy is it to break the normalization? Just wondering if I would have to leave some Dixie's disconnected or if I could plug a dummy cable into a 1v/oct input while using one as an lfo or what?

confused what do yo mean by "voice controller", tonnu?

hmmm..... also, when you write "controller for polyphony" ie either thinking of sequencers, polyphonic cv-gate keyboards (like the haaken continuum), touch/drum-pads (like the buchla thunder/222e/223e), or else computer/ midi-cv interfaces (like expert sleepers silent way vermona qmi)...

otherwise, this kind of is what i think of as a "voice controller" (ie, you use one-per-voice in a polyphonic patch to control a group of 1-4 dixie vcos, that can also be separately patched together for real far-out stuff, for example).

at any rate, for anyone with more than one dixie vco in his or her system, this will free up buffered mults, mixers and attenuators for other duties (filter-keying/tracking with vco pitch, mixing up more complex modulations from existing sources, etc), which is alway a good thing in modular synthesis. i consider it a win! smile

applause Intellijel !

cheers

Down? I'm riding on a rainbow, baby!!! Tax return will be in just in time to get me a big load of these beauties. I think Mr Cwejman may have to cut back on his caviar budget this year...

Cheers
