yeah, better buy branded ones if you don't want discomfort when use. _________________ http://L-1.su |

Look for SPDT switches - you can use them for spst in most situations. Small Bear has several different kinds, as does mouser. _________________ What they do is this: They leak current in proportion to the frequency of the signal. The ramifications of this can only be truly appreciated when solving nodal current balances in the Laplace domain, unfortunately.

Just got a quote on nice NKK spdt with flat actuator for around $3.50 each but minimum purchase was 250 dollars and I didn't 70 some switches at the moment. _________________ Brian

NKK M2012SS1W01s or bust
Totally worth it. Feel AMAZING and they're longlasting
Forgive this post if you just are looking for switches on an inflexible budget, then I dunno. _________________ paperkettle.com

| Can anyone give oppinion on the tayda switch? They seem pretty cheap. I got a few with my order but it is still somewhere in the world so I can't really say if they are good. But they are certainly affordable. |

I've always bought the Taiway toggle switches from Small Bear. They are quite inexpensive, but the solder terminals are potted in epoxy. "Cheap" switches often have unpotted terminals, which will start to move around even before they're hot enough for the solder to flow. Desoldering these cheap unpotted switches often destroys them entirely. However, the potted Taiway ones can be desoldered and reused no problem. I've never had one fail, and they feel good, too. _________________ And this abundance of technical means allows the heart to overflow freely.

i bought a batch of 100 spdt from hkss / partspipe and ive had no issue with any of the switches that are installed - ive busted a couple soldering but otherwise they have been fine. they are so much cheaper im pretty happy to go that way - if i listen to what people say they wont last as long as good switches but i have a soldering iron and can fix things so meh
if they were only 50cents cheaper id go the good ones but they are SO cheap ill happily swing to the dark side _________________ .

| I'd keep checking the bay for private bulk sales. Last year I scored 100 high quality MIJ Miyama toggle switches for only 30 Euros! |

I went the blue cheapy route early on. THEY SUCK
I had the great fortune to pull about 100 C&K switches from an old computer panel. Gold contacts for mind bending wire wrap. Many decades of clicking back and forth and all are still tight and firm.
The small bear switches seem to be the best for the $ at the moment. |
