hello again guys!

so here i am back..after doing a lot of research in this forum (i really love the vibe in this community) i finally decided myself about what to start with and hope u guys can help me with some questions

so I'm thinking in buying this case: http://www.schneidersladen.de/en/doepfer-2-x-84te-low-cost-suitcase-2

the question is: these doepfer cases come from germany right? so i don't have to be worried about the voltages of the power supply right? since i'm from europe (Portugal) sorry if i sound ignorant..but the truth is i'm really new to these world of "connections", "modular" stuff..and it's better put questions to blow up my system i think..ahhah

i know it will be super frustrating having the case and don't having modules..but my budget isn't so big for this month..next month comes the mind blowing choice of modules love

also i'd like to know if u think this case is a good choice?

have a great day and thanks in advance

Don't take my complete word for it, but I'm pretty sure 9v in Germany is the same as 9v anywhere else.
Is that your question?

As long as you use the power plug in for your country. There shouldn't be a problem. I'd wait till someone more versed in this answers though. As I'm starting a 5u rack.

hello again! smile

so i made up my mind..my budget now is 600eur. so i'll be buying a doepfer low cost 9U case and the (little) rest is for this:

will i be able to play with this for a while? and my other question is if i need a eurorack mixer to make the sound go to the speakers? and if not, for example if i can send the audio for example direct from the vco to my mixer, how can i make it stereo?

also this is the type of sound i want to do with my modular:

my main inspiration is villalobos, what kind of modules you guys advice me to buy in the future?

thanks in advance and great night to everyone
