That looks cool!

Any release date yet?

Can someone explain to me the basic differences between the evolver and mopho (just synthesis)? I like the third delay enveloppe... Hope it's also on the mopho...

I own a evolver keyboard and started to save money for a poly evolver keyboard but this new synth seems like a less expensive option...

one is a hybrid with analog oscs and digital wavetables (evolver)
the other is only analog but has a suboscillator (mopho)

Kinda looks like a Virus. IMO DSI is on a downslope design-wise

The mopho has no delay and no noisy digital high pass filter.

Yeah it looks like a virus. They should have made it bright pink or green

I hope it will be a big seller, but call me when they release the morpher and polymorpher. smile

Off the top of my head:
4 digital oscs, waveshape drawing with the sequencer knobs, waveshape crossfading and interpolation, 2 sub oscs, internal feedback, more lofi digi-delay options, 2 second sampler that can use exernal audio or re-sample internally to be used for the wave forms, analog multimode filter and digital highpass or even 2 analog mutlimodes if they can afford it, waveshaping distortion(s), robust and supremely masturbatory joystick. eek! hyper

i wonder why it's "mophox4" and not just "tetra(tetr4?) keyboard"? also that giant "x4" on the righthand side is kind of a slap in the face.

is this for real?

yeah, why isn't it called the tetra keyboard if the tetra is 4 mophos in 1?

and yeah, the design is yuck.

too bad.

sure it will be a good synth and sell but lookswise kinda sucks in my opinion.

edit: ahh, its not multitimbral, thats why its not a tetra. makes sense.

Goddamn I want that! I'll hook it to my Tetra for an 8 voice.

I wish it looked a bit more... something though. I even like the look of the Mopho keyboard better than this.

It isn't called a Tetra because it isn't 4 part muti-timbral and doesn't have 4 outs.

Which very much sucks IMHO.

well there went the last tiny gasp of desire that was already quivering away in a remote area of my rectum.

Looks (and sounds) good to me. After watching the video it's obvious the 'X4' spot on the right is to plop your Mofo or Tetra down on to.

Unless they're planning on borrowing the Xpander pole-mixing trick I imagine that would require DSI to design their own filter and let go of the PA397 chip...AFAIK Dave has never produced a filter not based around SSM or Curtis designs.

I wonder how long they can do small variations of the same thing.
