Just making sure in case I do something daft.......

I've just got an LM723CN for my PSU but its not the one in the parts guide.

The one I have is this

http://uk.farnell.com/stmicroelectronics/lm723cn/ic-reg-adj-723-dip14/ dp/1077176?Ntt=107-7176

And the parts guide says this

http://uk.farnell.com/national-semiconductor/lm723cn/ic-v-reg-adj-2-37 v-dip14-723/dp/9489355?Ntt=9489355

The national semi is a 'positive adjustable' under type and the STMicro is 'high precision' under type.

Should I re order, or can I just use STMicro type?

Thanks

Either of these will work fine as these are pretty generic parts.

I've used some 723 regulator chips that are over 30 years old in the Oakley PSU with no issues.
