Are Euro and Frac compatable? I know the powerr supplies are different, but can I still use them in conjunction with each other?
mamonu
yes they are.

there might be some inconsitencies with frac envelopes going to euro VCAs as euro usually expects 0-5V and some envelopes output ~10V...

but its nothing a attenuator cant fix...

im using euro and frac next to each other... and have no prob...

ps if im wrong someone can correct me...

currently i have mainly filters and other "special" modules like the metalbox 8008
and not any vcas or envs in this format...

Blacet EG1 has a front panel attenuator on its output,
and there is also a trimmer on the board to set max voltage
in case you want to use it in a 5V only system.

Blacet VCAs have documented resistor swaps for use at 5V.

Some Euro envelopes put out ~10V also.
The Malekko/Wiard Envelator outputs 9V which is usually enough.

I use Euro and Frac together all the time.
It's painless.

does anyone have a case (especially a performance case) that incorporates both Frac AND Euro?

This thread has a couple of examples of Frac & Euro in the same case.

I have separate portable cases for the 2 formats.
