seven minutes of sonic wallpaper created by a simple self-generating Buchla 200e patch. love the randomly subtle timbral shifts and articulations that arise and fade. listen in a large room if possible or with headphones otherwise. this patch almost seems to breathe...

p.s. it is using a first generation 259e
Here's the patch (not powered):
And here's a little video of the powered patch in action:

One of the most enjoyable things I've heard on muffs. The articulation, particularly the double reed sounding choked breath, are really engaging. More bassoon needed |

I whole heartedly agree. Had I heard this a month ago when debating buying a buchla, serge, or synthi I would have went with the Buchla instead of the synthi. Really amazing TRUE electronic music. |

Dear Friends and Colleagues,
A big thank you for taking the time to listen, enjoy and make such wonderfully kind and deep comments and observations!!

The heart of this patch is the Buchla 266e, 281e and a first generation 259e. I am using all four sections of the 281e to gently modulate everything from the timbre section on the 295e to varying attacks and decays and random note generation. I find the inherent synapses of the 266e to be most musical!
Here is a photo of the patch (not powered up).
And here is a short video just to show it in powered up modes with blinking lights et al.
Again a huge thank you to all that have taken the time to both listen to this humble offering and for your ceaselessly encouraging kind kudos! all best wishes, Todd _________________ Buchla Breaks: http://www.ustream.tv/channel/buchlabot
