check it out thumbs up

SID were the biggest attraction for me getting into DIY
but modular land just took over

i even sold off all the c64s and atari's that i collected

the sid chip sounds pretty sick. I look forward to getting deeper into DIY modules. I have built a paia fatman before the midbox. The paia was a fun build, I just think the wiring is a little ghetto.

I think next is going to be a vocoder and spring verb. I would like to build some crazy ass filter too.

Nice build, I like the blue panel.

This is a killer project but those sid's are getting harder to come by. Lucky for me a scored a few before the midibox crew bought every chip out there.

I never figured out what that expansion port was for.
Kent
Where'd you source the panel and box?
Luka
there a lots of group-buys for stuff like that over at ucapps
antennafarm
hot damn. how much did it run you for parts, PCBs, etc?

and how long did it take to construct?

the guys at Ucapps are pretty awesome. theres a DIY sequencer just as powerful as the nemo that you can build

I dont think its right for me to say how much it will cost. Nobody nebvr talks about price but will say this I know what it wont cost you and thats the price of a elektron sid synth.

this build took me 3 months working on the weekends and spare time during the week. some people it takes years.

Wow 8 CV outs! MY ASS IS BLEEDING
LetterBeacon
Nice work!

How did you mount the LCD onto the panel? I'm planning on building the MIDIBox CV but I'm not entirely sure how I would fix the LCD display to the panel.

there are pre drilled holes on the Control Surface PCB for screw mounting. have fun with your build
