Current Draw Questions( Cyndustries, Wiard, STG Soundlabs )

Post by Squibbons » Sun Mar 16, 2008 10:24 am

Anyone know what the current draw is on there following modules?

Wiard JAG( Frac )
Wiard Joystick( Frac )
Cydustries Sawtooth Animator( Frac )
STG Soundlabs Mankato( Frac )

I'd even be interested if anyone knew the numbers for the current draw for the rest of the Frac modules each of those companies produce. I've heard that the Wiard 1200 modules all draw less than 100ma, and that the Wiard Joystick draws less than 25ma, but if anyone has more precise numbers, I'd much appreciate. =)

No idea on the Sawtooth Animator, I emailed Cynthia and hope to hear back

JAG is 100ma
Joystick is 20ma
Mankato is 25ma

-------

Wiard Boogie & Borg 2 - 51ma each
Wiard Noise Ring - 100ma
STG Wavefolder - 10ma

If you need to know any others that I have in my rig just let me know

Awesome. Thanks for the quick reply. I'm in the process of planning / reorganizing modules, as I've got 36 of them now, and the last few have come so quickly together that I haven't had time to plan out where I want them. Having the current draws for these modules will help a lot.

I've got a huge excel spreadsheet with all the modules I own or might own, the current draws for each, and the sizes of them. I have each columns for each PSU as well and keep track of what modules are on which one and how much total draw those modules are pulling. It comes in handy when moving lots of modules around, and determining exactly when you need a new PSU.

Cynthia got back to me to say that while she hasn't measured it, she would guess the frac Saw Animator to be about 100ma on the + and - rails both
