Update 29th May 2013

Version 2B PCBs are now in stock:
- pot values now correct on screenprint.
- additional pads for 16mm pot option.

4HP panels in stock too!

---------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------

I've converted this project to fabbed PCBs for 9mm pots and 4HP panels - now even easier to build the snappiest ADSR in the World now!

ADSR PCB: 12 GBP
ADSR 4HP panel: 12 GBP

Please add 3 GBP for international shipping.

Paypal to: payments (AT) frequencycentral.co.uk

Please state what you are ordering in the Paypal email. Would be useful if you also PM me to confirm your payment.

Build doc: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/967492/New%20PCBs/New%20PCB%20Buil d%20Docs/System%20X%20Envelope%20Ver2%20Build%20Doc.pdf

The next run will also have the option to use either 9mm pots or 16mm pots. The 4HP panel of course requires 9mm pots.

Note there is an error on the screenprint of the initial run, this is being fixed for the next run. Pots should read: Attack A500K, Decay A1M, Sustain B100K, Release A1M

I'll be offering PCBs separate to panels for those who wish it. The next run will also have the option to use either 9mm pots or 16mm pots.

This sounds perfect!

Going to grab me a whole load of 100m pcbs in a month or so thumbs up
bartleby
pm'ed for 1 pcb + panel.

now do the m-172 phaser next, please. hihi
bartleby
is there a bom for this somewhere - or is the photo of the pcb also the bom?

"n" would be 2n3904, and "p" 2n3906, right?
lazerkind
Looks great, thumbs up
I'll wait for the 16mm pot version though

n = BC547
p = BC557

BOM and build docs on the way!

cool!

hey, i just learned about your system x filter - do you offer those as pcb/panel kits, too?
bartleby
as i'm planning to place a reichelt order today, i took the liberty to compile a little preliminary bom from what i can spot on the pic in the op:

Code:
resistors:
3x 330r
3x 1k
2x 10k
1x 15k
3x 22k
2x 33k
5x 47k
2x 56k
4x 100k
1x 150k
1x 560k

1x 100k lin pot
1x 500k log pot [edited]
2x 1m log pot [edited]

diodes:
6x 1n4148 [edited]
1x led

electrolytic caps:
1x 1u
1x 10u
2x 47u

ic:
7x bc547
3x bc557
1x lf351
1x tl072

misc:
3x 3.5mm jack
1x switch

reichelt bom (w/o pots)

is this roughly accurate?

there seems to be a discrepancy between the log pot values on the pcb and the ones mounted on your build. the ones on the built module are labelled 1x 500k and 2x 1m - i used the values from the pcb instead. which are better suited?

also, could bc547 be replaced with 2n3904, and bc557 with 2n3906?

[edit: bom updated, reichelt shopping list added]

Looking good! Except:

This is a screen print error. Has been corrected for the next run. The actual values should be:

Attack: A500K
Decay: A1M
Sustain: B100K
Release: A1M

IIR, 2N3904 and 2N 3906 are the opposite pinout to BC547 and BC557. So you'll have to insert them in the opposite direction to taht shown on the screenprint.

6 x 1N4148
bartleby
cool, i've updated the bom in my post for others to use.

I would be interested in just some circuit boards - probably 4 ,
will keep a look out for when you do the next lot.

Just realised the build pdf needs updating... I ordered 16mm pots because it said I had the option... then this morning the pcb arrived...

d'oh!
bartleby
there is a build pdf? where?
frequencycentral
Yes the build PDF on my site is for the previous etched version. I'm in the process of writing a new one for this PCB.

Initial run has sold out! Good news is that I've ordered a new run of PCBs and panels which will arrive in about to weeks, so please feel free to order.

ADSR PCB: £12 GBP
ADSR 4HP panel: £12 GBP

or

ADSR PCB/4HP panel bundle £22 GBP

Please add £3 GBP for international shipping.
