After the build of my oakley modular system later this year i´m planing to build an diy sequencer.
Is there an 3 row with 8 steps per row diy sequencer out there?
I like the moog 960 form or everything similar.
The Klee sequencer doesn´t have seperate row´s? Is that right?

Or is Tony in developement of an analog sequencer? love

I'm just waiting for the boards from the US before I start the build. I've also done a 5U fpd for the front panel if you're interested.

Here's the 5U panel design. Waiting for it to arrive from Schaeffer, but I think it will work.

Hi John - i like your design much! More than the funny circle design i saw.
For me it is better to see the steps horizontal for better sequence controll!
Has the MFOS Step Seq seperate rows?
I like to use one row for pitch the other row for filter sweep or anything.
I want to use 3 rows -this row additional for length, volume or something but i didn´t find a diy sequencer project with this functionality and completely analog useability. (i must build a second one then!)

Look at the www.picaxe.com website and go to the forum. Look under completed projects and you'll see one I did that is as you ask but based on a micro and a chip similar to 4066 switches but run by the spi interface. Worked well for me and has the added benefit that you can select the note and octave of every note in the sequence with pots. I tried to find a nested pot so the inner ring was note and the outer was octave but the cost too much. I also wanted he shaft to have an led to show the sequence position but again too expensive. You can select the length of the sequence and make it go forward, backwards or back and forth. You can change the rate with a pot and it has a fast and slow setting. I list the code for the micro as well and it is in basic so almost anyone can modify it. I believe it is 16 or 24 steps but it has been a while since I played with it.

If you don't want the note/octave then just use them as separate sequences.
