Just got the new Leploop v2 love
Also just got the original leploop! They are a bit different but I love both. More cv out/in on v2 and different response on some pots. Audio in to filter and cv in to osc. The big difference is the digital sequencer in v2. The sounds they can produce are outstanding. The filter is soooooo good and Cassa might be my all time favourite BD.

Here is my first try with them. Nothing good but you can at least see them hihi
Pase
Leploop it's great! I've got the fist version and I love it!
Guinness ftw!
Interested in knowin' what's the differences between the two versions.

sequencer on the v2 looks much easier to handle than the v1.

Sequencer on the v1 was bizarre- I couldn't figure out if I was making the music or the box was. Works for some, but not me. Be interested to know the differences on the v2 sequencer as I liked the sound of the v1, particularly the filter iirc.

I havent been able to spend to much time with them yet so not sure about all differences but I do think the step programming on v2 is easier due to the 16 leds making it easier to see what your doing.

Some of the v2 specs.

4 track 64 step digital seq (can also be 2x32, 4x16 etc)
Eeprom memory 16 banks x 10 patterns
Clock out
Midi clock in
5 cv out
3 gate out
4 audio outs
Pitch change by midi (pwm)
Better FM
Cv in (linear) to both vco
Cv in for vcf cutoff
More modulation options like negative env etc. I will put up a close up of the frontpanel soon.

I used the original leploop live yesterday with a machinedrum uw and the cassa was shaking the walls nanners
Will post a video later on.
tIB
I look forward to it- the v2 is the same price as the v1?
magnetize
i would be very interested to know how more user friendly the v2 sequencer is to use than the v1.

I so much want one! The original sounded raw and beautiful. How heavy is it?
Bath House
I always respected how utterly bugfuck and insane this thing was! Sequencer entirely built around a sample and hold that you can kind of feed stuff into but not really program directly! Voltage that progressively droops for some reason! Never change, you mutant. screaming goo yo

Is that Bjork in your sig, Bath House?

Hell no, Bjork's built like a cast-iron stove. That's Sophie Ellis-Bextor.

I've just bought one of these mad machines too. It has a mind of it's own. Love it.

I ordered one, could not resist anymore.

Been using the Leploop for two days now...
Kinda lost on it a bit.
Still learning some of the functions and such.

It is weird...
I do love the bass drum noiz when you crank up that distortion!

Be neat if there were some in depth video tutorials on how to use the sequencer.

You lucky man! I am still waiting for mine. Did you also get the pouch?

Could you post some sounds?

Yup!
Got the pouch.

A couple of the knurled nuts came off in shipping and you should know the logo is NOT attached to the pouch.

It's just an extra doodad thingie that comes with it.

I will try to post some noiz from it tonight.
Still trying to figure it out though...

Thanks!

I finally wired the beast to my modular rig...

Wow!
Things just get all sorts of weird.
I went crazy with the patch though.

I literally wired EVERY single input and output except for the two envelope connections on the face.

That little beast can really get weird...really weird...

What an amazing machine! I love it instantly! The sound is very deep.

Here is a recording of my first minute with it and a Nagra III tape machine, transferred to digital via a FF400.
