I don't mean to nitpick, but I just bought a M-23 and it came wrapped in friggin newspaper. He's not making enough to shell out for some foam or peanuts at the worst?
On the other hand, let's give it to Malekko and Cwejman for having nice boxes and packaging! |

| Actually its used for tracking. The date on the paper is used to track when it was shipped. Hang on to that for your own records and in the event you need to make a return. |

JULY 12, 1987?!?!??! | That makes it vintage and justifies a price increase. |

I could be wrong, but I think that's Big City Music's doing...
I got some Plan B stuff from them and it was wrapped in newspaper as well, but I got some Plan B stuff from Noisebug and it was wrapped in bubblewrap and/or foam peanuts.
I can't remember if the non-B stuff I got from BCM was wrapped in newspaper though... so |

| I received a synth through eBay that was bagged in large trash bags and the remaining empty space in the box was padded with old Wal-Mart bags. Including the blue ones with the smiley face they haven't used in like a decade. |

I like it as well, especially when its newspaper from somewhere I've never been! Its kind of a cool, random glimpse of everyday life, once got plastic grocery bag with "I LOVE NYC, THATS WHY I DON'T LITTER" on it (or words to that effect) I thought it was cute!
I hoard all my foam / bubblewrap etc. as well - single use petro-chemicals for the EPIC FAIL! |

Yeah seriously, my last Plan B module from BCM came wrapped in those creepy sex pages from the back of the newspaper. I had a good laugh at that since I've never pursued that sort of thing. _________________ [toppobrillo] [twitter] [blog] [flickr] [audio] |

At first when my girl saw them she commented on how ugly the girls were. I had to explain to her how they are all men. (She has bad eyesight) _________________ [toppobrillo] [twitter] [blog] [flickr] [audio] |

| I'm a fan of plain popcorn. Works like styrofoam peanuts without the styrofoam part, although people tend to find it a little weird. |

right. packing in newspapers is a cheap but/and reliable means to avoid electrostatic discharge damaging the circuitry. i wish more manufacturers would do that, actually. |

Well, at least the module came to me. Let's just hope it doesn't break, and or, functions properly. I won't be able to test it till tomorrow.
So just to be sure.... Plan B repairs ARE indeed out of the question? |

I'm pretty sure BCM will handle that for you. They said they had repair staff even to do it there. _________________ http://www.REwireMusic.com |

There wasn't enough credit given to this remark. It deserves a resolute
