so you have a plague bearer in the feedback loop of the delay?

these sound awesome, btw! Very sparse signal input, which I like, that lets you really hear the tones!

Definitely. I'm stunned that this is something that hasn't become a common feature of modular delays - it's one of the key things that has me interested in the Sound of Shadows. The new ASys 440 delay doesn't even have a feedback loop at all, which gets a healthy "what the fuck" from me.

same here - I'm not even considering it as an option - especially since it's a bbd, and they traditionally *need* a filter in the feedback loop.

Thanks guys, this is exactly the kind of thing I've been wanting for a long time. These 2 examples are with a Plague Bearer tapped out from the delay out and back in at the insert. Interestingly enough the VC feedback like effect is not from the VC feedback in. It's happening because of the frequency response of the PB filter with subtle adjustments to the high and low bands and gain and input. I will definitely be purchasing an additional barebones version and can't wait to see what features are brought out with the expansion. I had to stare at the module for over an hour while I finished up a session in the studio last night. I put it in the rack and started messing with it immediately!

Just had a brief period with one last night and got an email from Kevin that he wants to fix something in the insert functionality (which I hadn't even gotten to yet), so I'm sending it back today. But yes - this thing is really, really fun. It just begs for modulation, more modulation, more and more modulation....
