Im very sorry guys, I ran out of funds issuing refunds and tomorrow am going to be completing a loan to pay the remainder of what I need to get to WMD to complete the shipping, and will issue any refund requests. It appears there is an issue with my email, which I am currently using Gmail, some kind...

I agree, all the Erica stuff looks dope. Pico drums and DSP look like a great combo. I would also say the Disting makes an awesome little SD card drum sampler/looper and does a million other useful things :D

Faceplates arrived last friday and units are coming off the line and being tested at WMD. My new operations manager (I damn sure needed one of those!) and I are going through all of the order info and email requests for specific shipping arrangements and changes of address and making sure things are...

I believe there is a limitation on file naming that you may want to link in the manual. I had a few files that had long names and those were stopping things from working as well. From Wikipedia(couldn't find a simple doc outlining the limitations of naming): Long file names[edit] One of the user exp...

No, you've just used a sloppy text editor. If you're on Mac, check out TextWrangler. On Windows, try Notepad++. You may want to include a note in the manual about rich text files if there is not yet one, the default text editor on OS X often saves text copy pasted from websites such as your example...

youtube and vimeo embedded links work on the forum if you take a look at other posts. I would suggest a video walk through or overview on one of those platforms instead of instagram. I am working on exactly that, I just had to finish up a few client projects to keep myself and my kitty fed :) Metal...

I think I figured it out, and It appears to be working. I put your files on there and the jacks are blinking! I went into disk utility, and erased the SD card from its root, usually the drives have a root and a partition, and I would format from the 1 partition. this time I used this setting: master...

Re: FH-1 presets request ?

there is a spec that is starting to be adapted by other manufacturers based on the Storage Strip and Mungo tests we did a couple years ago. I would love to see Expert Sleepers adopt it into anything using presets. Directly after the omnimod units are shipped at the end of this month I will be focusi...

SD card playback

I can not seem to get the SD audio playback to work. I have checked all of the information I could find for a few days, as it was a bit part of the reason I got the module. I am generally savy (I make modules macroMachines.net) and have made the text file and 16 bit waves as detailed in the document...

http://expert-sleepers.co.uk/distingusermanual.html#favourites I like the new favorites idea. About to try it out I spent a while looking through all the new update info to try and find how to use this feature, it would have been extremely helpful to have this link to the manual section in the post...

Basically what I did was had a friend use the CNC at our hacker space to mill out the screw holes a bit, and I did some manually myself using a manual mill and dremel. It was all a learning process.. you realize how small the margin of error is on this stuff, it worked perfect in our case while we w...

The last I spoke with William @WMD he said things will be done by the end of November at the latest. I've got the faceplates squared away. Are "breakpoint envelopes" something like keyframes + transitions/function segments, and then the CV/triggers blend/move between them? essentially yes, you can move x/y for each point and set several different repeat/mirror/curve/sample+hold/distort parameters for each one, left encoder selects thr...

The way the omnimod 4 inputs work: (video manual will be up soon) ---connect any signal from -10 to +10 volts , (as far as I am aware this is the lowest and highest voltages Ive seen come from a euro module or other electronic music gear) --- the incoming signal to any of the inputs can be audio, C...

Yes, the current quote and plan is for 200, I am starting to contact the retailers who want to place orders in the next week or two and anticipate selling the remaining available units within 2-3 weeks. The final retail price will be a bit more than the preorder price, so everyone who bought on preo...
