Re: iOS audio editor that allows importing from music library?

Bumping this. 5 years later, is there anything good for basic audio editing? Plug-in support a + but not needed. Just effective slicing and volume adjusting/normalization secondarily. . Don‘t know if it‘s on your BS list, but maybe TwistedWave? https://apps.apple.com/en/app/twistedwave-audio-editor...

Ok, now after a few years it's time for a few "updates" regarding the G8. Unfortunately, the announced update service via Schneiders never happened. And probably for good reasons: When I re-considered the update last December, I must realize that my module was missing the 6-pin programmer socket. So...

Thanks. I think we're on topic. On that github page it says * Due to the 32k size constraint in the multi-engine the Wavetable oscillator is split into 6 oscillators with 4 'rows' each.... ..... Due to compute and memory (32K!) limitations in the prologue multi-engine quite a few short-cuts had to ...

The announcement of the minilogue XD has made this less of an impulse buy... If you want „Plaits“ as Keyboard version, then the MicroFreak wins over the Korgs. The user oscillator for Korg is nice, but IMHO contains (due to memory limitations?) the less interesting modes of Plaits. More of the main...

I think it all boils down to the fact that both are the most recent examples of "hosts" for Mutable Instruments OSS code.

Is the keyboard technology basically the same as in some Eurorack modules, e.g. in MakeNoise "Pressure Points", or "Rene"?

I still have my mk1 - and still love it! But when I read the first announcement of mk3 I was quite disappointed: only inputs are left. No output of (inverted) LFO1 or Envelope. I understand, that (unlike mk1) everything is accessible now on the PCB for diy guys, but it's lacking basic functio...

Yeah, international shipping's gone up (again) here and returning it to Europe is $23.50. I just sent one back to Belgium - a CVP with a worn out offset pot - yesterday. Still, if you (or anyone else) pays to get it here, I pay to get it back. Seems fair. Absolutely - couldn't agree more! But I alw...

Wohooo - lot's of good ideas here! Thanks alot for your input! Highly appreciated! Since none of you put focus on a possible OpAmp issue, I'll discard this option and start another research on the pots. I don't think there's some DC floating around. Ok, I try to keep it short: I need your help! :help: I built my Mix five years ago, it worked right away and served me well for several years. But ~2 years ago that "crackling" started: * it doesn't start right away, but starts after a "warm up" time * it happens on each input (excludes jacks as cau...

doepfer make good modules but they aren't really geared towards small systems, either in HP or in depth -- many utilities are wider than other mfrs, and lots of circuit boards are mounted perpendicular to the faceplates. When I started Eurorack, I bought a Doepfer 9U case - and found all the cool s...

Doepfer actually represents the majority of my current modules. But I must confess, mostly utilities of any kind. But these are indispensable.

I'm necro bumping because I need to downgrade to either V2.0.0, or V1.4.0.20. Can't find downloads for the older firmwares on the BSP forum either. Are there old firmwares floating around out there? I don't have a BSP (only BP), but usually you can try to manipulate the download link for the most r...

Opinions wanted: Companion for Dark Energy

Hi everyone and merry Christmas! No, this is not the usual "beginner's" thread seeking for entry level help. I started with a Doepfer Dark Energy (Mk.I) 5 years ago and originally intended to stay away from modular systems. The only addition I wanted to build was a little "companion" based on the Do...
