Re: Disting EX feature request

It was a secondary function of the macro machines storage strip, and meant for use on Mungo modules. Essentially it increases the resolution of a module’s pots for fine-tuning purposes.

Re: Disting EX feature request

I'm late to the party on this. It seems that this could be the answer to my select bus prayers. Would love to see bus state sequencing similar to macro machines storage strip somehow.

Re: Select Bus

Just stumbled across this. Absolutely what I’m looking for to save multiple select bus module states (mungo stuff plus/omnimod). I’m not diy inclined really but maybe would give it a go or pay someone else to do so. I would buy a production model in a heart beat. It wouldn't need to be be DIY ;) It...

Re: Storage Strip for Mungo. Can they be DIYed?

Oh wow, this is wonderful. It led me to see this other SDS module..

....which is perfect and smaller (i wouldn't use any of Melismas functionality beyond save and recalling states). I'm hoping the thing makes it through to production.

Re: Storage Strip for Mungo. Can they be DIYed?

Really excited to stumble across this, I’ve been hoping for a way to save multiple mungo /omnimod states forever. Maybe SDS will be the answer to our prayers!

Amazing rack of mungo. Would love to see a patch/track with a bunch of them?

Also the storage strip, does it control them all? Mine seems to max-out at 3.

Just poking my head back in to think about this. Having checked the documentation, I can't say with clarity whether this functionality already exists or if this is something you would consider adding Os? How would you use the disting / select bus breakout to create a saved bus state and could there ...

it's been a while... found out that the (annoying) noise when grain size gets too short can be used as a supportive element, rather glitchy and aggressive but still useable. here's a short demo where the g0 is in live mode, it receives the same vcfq rhythm that is audible dry too, manual playing of...

Final suggestion relating to this, what about a new mode on Disting enabling it to function as a Storage strip by saving the settings of other distings / compatible select bus modules (mungo etc)? Ideally using the Z knob for zoom functionality. I know it’s in some ways treading on the toes of the m...

It really is.

OK, final thought that would smash this out of the park... The original storage strip would only reliably work with upto 3 modules. It would be unbelievable if a new alternative could work with 5+ modules. Instant recall for a quintet of distings & mungo's would be just amazing.

Expert Sleepers Storage Strip

I wondered what the likelihood was of an expert sleepers storage strip? Seems like Macro Machines are out of the game, leaving a gap in the market for a small footprint hp alternative (ideally with a mungo-style zoom switch). I'm sure there are many who would jump to purchase such a thing to accompa...

I think it’s such a shame that there aren’t more tutorial/walk through type videos for mungo modules. I would love to see more people exposed to these amazing things.
