Re: what is your favorite amp?

sleeper fave is the peavey classic and it’s allies, solid state front, tube output. they have a master gain so you can get them really crunchy and mine has this awesome phaser that sounds insane with the crunch up. paid $50 for it but had to respeaker it.

i have a few of these and some did come with a couple jacks DOA but have not lost jacks during use and work great for mono. they’re so cheap and hard to return i just taped off the bad jacks and went forward.

CS-60 filter adjustment help?

last time I could get someone to work on my CS-60, it came back sounding pretty good but it has an adjustment problem in the filter section. what it seems like is that the filter response is possibly split into three or four trims over its range and one of these trims is set much more aggressively t...

Re: Did your Modular Grid go as planned?

my modulargrid went as fs/ft intended :miley: I'm definitely in this camp. Especially when I first started, the used market really made a lot of decisions for me. Depending on what popped up, i'd research around it and be pretty flexible instead of resolutely saying I need "xyz" module and nothing ...

Re: Marantz pmd430 echo V/O speed control

i’m going to unmod mine. it tends to have trouble with too much load on the motor and auto stops. forwarding to the middle of the tape allows it to work but honestly the echo is not good enough to lose the ability to play tapes.

Re: Is Eurorack just extreme consumerism?

Life in 2020 is extreme consumerism. Whether that’s a good or bad thing, you decide. However, no one can virtue signal on what one person buys compared to another. The fact that you’re posting on this website shows your an extreme consumer. 90 percent of the world can’t afford the most basic studio...

LED light strips off euro PS?

i have a bunch of LED strips that all run on SS 12v, it would be a PoP to wire them with a euro connector and have lighting on the rack. but i feel like i read something somewhere about noise interference, there has to be a reason i’m not reading a bunch of tutorials where people do this, nay??

Re: Something new from Make Noise coming?

i have not been this excited for a MN product in awhile. after trying to replace my PP&brains with an NLC bindubba i have been missing the PP/B. the flexibility of having the three rows simultaneously available is awesome, and this basically takes the 2xPP, adds brains and some other stuff and puts ...
