I really wanna like this but still didnt hear any interesting music made with it. A bunch of never stopping arpeggios/drones,sounding all too mechanical to me. I miss silence and variations in those jams. Is it hard to program/modulate the parameters to get some swing, less repetitive motifs?

Perfourmer mk2 is a techno machine. You can create a kick, bass line, lead, hihat at the same time. I have not use it for pad sounds yet but it is very musical sounding synth. Here the lead and bass sound is from Perfourmer, rhytm track from TR8

Next gen consumer is the creator too. If we lived in 80's today, these portable toys are the walkmans. Personal jam is the future IMHO :)

Anything from Push to AR requires some degree of programming and can be boring or the results wont be more than copy of thousands copies. I would take Vermona DRM1mk3/CV triggers and for sequencing , Beatstep pro for straight beats and master clock, 4ms SCM w/breakout for polyrhytmic duties and 1 or...

With your mind, free of all the music theory, you might be even closer to anything new...especially if you are mathematician, scales are just frequency ratios and silence is the best friend!

Really good drum machine/sampler/midi sequencer for iPad "- Get wild with loop modes : Forwards, Reverse, Urn (random without repeating), and two Pendulum modes. - Euclidean mode allows you to explore exotic polyrhythms like 7 against 11, 35 against 36, or even 3 against 4." http://www.olympianoisec...

For the sake of argument, I would point out that if you're starting from scratch composing on a computer, adding up the cost of a MacBook, a powerful DAW, a good Audio interface, an external hard drive, a MIDI controller, a couple of interesting plug-ins, whatever you may need to record samples if ...

I think this might be my firs cable machine. Just two questions:
Is Phenol usually available at retailer store (Moog audio)?
And can I take Phenol with me on the plane, I will fly over to Europe in october from Canada. Im not sure what kind of restrictions there are these days.
Thanks

When in bounce mode, those bouncing notes are cancelling each other if the gate is set higher/longer (>200ms) I can make interesting patterns/melodies this way… I'm not sure if it's because of the Tenori or it might be related to the Vermona Perfourmer's midi converter, but it is interesting… If your...
