No worries. Yes, I read elsewhere that Blofeld responds to P-AT. It may yet be an undocumented feature in the Sledge. There's enough to like about it, regardless. Thanks for your reply.

Re: Studiologic Sledge black edition - review

The aftertouch (single channel or mono for the built-in keybed although the instrument can respond to poly aftertouch from an external controller)...<snip> I'm very interested in your comment about the Sledge responding to poly aftertouch, as I have a MIDIboard that generates P-AT. May I ask, how d...

Re: Polyphonic Pitch Bend!

I'm trying to understand how you do this. Do you have a VCA for each oscillator? Do you use software like Silent Way to convert P-AT MIDI data into control voltage for the VCA(s)? Very cool.

Sorry if this is a dumb question as I don't much about electronics, but why are the PCB jacks for EXT GLIDE ENABLE and EXT DECAY MUTE TRS instead of TS?

SW VC Env's controlling SW LFO depth and speed

The audio demonstrates Silent Way Voice Controller Envelopes 1 and 2 controlling SW LFO depth and speed, respectively. Voice Controller is using the plugin default outputs: Env 1 output = 3; Env 2 output = 4. The VC LFO is not used. An Aux track hosts SW LFO with Aux input set to SW Voice Controller...

DFR, a slightly irksome quirk to be aware of: The Q172 MIDI out is transposed down 2 octaves. To compensate, I transpose the receiving MIDI instrument up 2 octaves.

Being able to goof with the sequencer and then "archive" out the results to Midi seems like a very powerful and time saving capability. That's the main reason I got the Q172. But adding MIDI Out kind of "forced" me into a computer/modular hybrid approach. The first thing that hit me when I hooked u...

As Ive said, the CV output of the Q172 is consistently correct, but the Midi Output seems to be consistently incorrect when I play notes up the keyboard. Mark Mark, I confirm. MIDI output is correct playing down the keyboard, but it plays the wrong octave when playing up the keyboard. Also, the bug...

Step LFO suggestion – backward triggering

Using MIDI notes to trigger steps in Step LFO is a great feature as it allows one to tune each step before advancing to the next step, like a sequencer. If I advance a step by mistake, however, I have to tap MIDI notes repeatedly in order to get back to the step I want to tune. No big deal of course...

Doug, (or anyone else who's done this) on the last page of the Q109 mod instructions pdf is a photo of the Q109 showing what appears to be a 1/4" jack in place of the push button. I assume this is for connecting a foot switch to actuate the EG. This is what I want to do to my Q109. Have you written ...

Learner plugin - where is it?

I'm embarrassed to ask, but where do I find the Learner plugin? In DP 7.24, Learner passed AU inspection and is present in the list of plugins that passed. But Learner doesn't appear in the menu of plugins to insert in a track. I tried mono and stereo aux tracks.

Good work! Sounds like you've mastered the Follower's parameter settings. I tried it with my voice but couldn't get smooth results. Your example gives me encouragement to try again with guitar.

I'm sure the knob settings are very user specific, but I'd like to see a screen shot of your settings.

SW 2.0.1 - Plugins not fronting

I'm using SW 2.0.1 in DP 7.24 under OS 10.6.8. Clicking on a SW plugin GUI does not bring the plugin GUI to the front (if it was behind other windows). The only way to front it is to click in the top-most strip of the GUI above the Prefs button.
