Re: Pulsar-23 by Soma

oh man. DO it. or not even that, but set a goal each day. i have learned and got so much more done than my natural inclinations of bingeing shows and playing vidja games all day when i'm stuck inside would have led to. boof. the goal is a Korg Minilogue XD up top right, whiiiiiich actually arrived ...

Re: Polyend teaser : sampling groovebox?

Hmmm. Seeing that this thing has sample slicing, wavetable/granular synthesis, SD storage, and a FM radio for $600 bucks means that I’m interested. I’ve been curious about trackers in the past, but have never made the leap. Need to see some workflow videos on this box before committing.

Re: Pulsar-23 by Soma

Nice stuff on this page - thanks to everyone for sharing. I've only been able to spend a handful of hours with mine (black unit #68 reporting). Have also been learning how to use the Metron in parallel, so that hampers the learning speed as well. The two of them make a fun pair for sure, though. Some...

I've been curious about trackers in general, but it also seems like a workflow type that I'd quickly fall out of.

Let's see some videos, pls

Re: The Elektron Model:Cycles Thread

Here's the Perfect Circuit stream with a Q&A with Ess Mattisson & Mario Hernandez from Elektron. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ur-6JKo_3Ys Picked mine up last night, ran it solo for a while on the couch before pairing it up with a Digitakt. First night observations: looooads of fun. Getting a lot ...

You could rename the topic to the product name so we have a dedicated thread for Model:Cycles.
Done and done, thanks for the reminder.

Meanwhile, here's another video:

Re: New Elektron Teaser

Was watching all of this stuff leak out yesterday, nice to have some sounds and demos. Joey, thanks for sharing those patterns with us, some of those are wild. Personally I was hoping for a new Digi-style box (have a Digitakt and Digitone and love the size & buttons), but I definitely like this. Nev...

Re: New Elektron Teaser

Was there ever an official Overbridge release? Or is it still in beta? Still beta, so maybe they'll also take it out of beta. Hopefully also adding OT support so we can send audio over usb, and all that stuff. Octatrack on Overbridge is not gonna happen, unless they release a new hardware version. ...

Re: New Elektron Teaser

Has anyone been bored enough to rip the audio from each and play them together? I’m standing by my guess this could be a cool little percussion synth with analogue engines. I've been combing through the standard Elektronauts mega-thread that shows up on inbound product releases - someone did this o...

Looks like Perfect Circuit is now taking pre-orders for the Lyra-8 in pink and orange colors, same price as the black, white and green versions: Soma Laboratory Products
Wow, I’m kinda liking that pink.

Re: Post pics of your euro setup! - RESIZE YOUR PHOTOS PLEASE

my humble rig Damn, I love your setup. Two questions: 1. Do you have any music generated with this setup online? 2. How much does that USB tile bother you? here’s a brief video of my first intro with the metron, i’m just scratching the surface, and the usb doesn’t bother me too much but it needs to...

Re: What do you feed your BIA, especially after midnight?

Well kids, I needed a euro sequencer as well, so I ended up skipping the Mimetic Digitalis for now and went with a Metron along with a pair of Volteras.

All praise due to the Analogue Heaven sale this weekend for making this possible :hail:

Re: What do you feed your BIA, especially after midnight?

I really liked the sound of the BIA when I first got it, but have struggled to integrate its sound with the music I make. As far as kicks go, I think I might be more of a dirty, deep 808 hiphop-ish kind of guy. Haven't given up on the BIA yet, though - I know it's capable of a lot, and I haven't bee...
