Re: Disting EX - Unfortunately, first crash
Worth mentioning perhaps that the SD modes don't autosave while samples are playing, to avoid interrupting the SD streaming. So just stop the patch occasionally to give it an opportunity to save, even if you don't save manually.

Re: ES-9 with ES-5
Silent Way is more flexible, but that's not a deal breaker.
You could route the CV Clock via another track, and use the panning on that track to direct the clock to the left or right side of the pair.

Re: ES-9 with ES-5
You don't need to buy Silent Way for this. Pass the CV Tools clock through the ES-5 Controller, activating the Input To Gates feature.

There are a couple of threads here about Windows & the ES-9 that might help. For example:

Re: Es-9 power surge problem
I can't think how that could happen. The ES-9 doesn't draw power from the USB connection or provide power to it.
I wonder if it's actually a grounding issue.

Re: EX PolyWavetable CC64 (sustain ped.) weirdness
I can't repro that, and there's nothing in the code that could cause that. I would suspect something at your end.

My plan was to smooth the changes internally. Keeping things as CCs makes it much easier to set up.

Re: Nooby issues with ES-9
If I can read your config above, it looks like output channel 11 on the ES-9 is routed to your left speaker output.

Fixed.
https://github.com/expertsleepersltd/is ... ta.hex.zip
You'll need to fix the mapping and save it again, but then it should stay fixed.

You don't need to use imgur. You can just drop images into the composition area here.

Re: EX midi mapping bug?
Can you save your mapping to the SD so I can load it here?
What does the actual attenuverter value say it is in this case? When midi controller sends a zero value, the input is not completely shut.

Re: es-8 Standalone Operation adat
So you're talking about input, not output. So you get 4 channels from the ES-8.
